At last year’s AGM when we changed the club rules, because of the demise of Fleetwood Caravans, I feel we did not fully realise the full implications of the fact there were to be no more new Fleetwood caravans when our present members wanted to upgrade their van and so had to purchase a van of another make and therefore have to leave the club. At this year’s AGM we will have a chance to change this.

There are two possibilities:-

a) Allow present & previous members to carryon their membership, albeit they have a different make of van.

b) Open up the club to all makes of van.

At the Christmas Party rally, the Chairman called a meeting of all the committee members present and discussed the options. The result was that we would recommend to the AGM option ‘b’. We felt that there will be no need to change our name or other rules.

We would be pleased to hear if you agree/disagree with our recommendation.
