2006 

The Meridien is a new range for Fleetwood in 2006 and we’re justly proud of it. These 21st century Clubmans are descended from directly from the Fleetwood Colchester range, the marque that has made Fleetwood famous for over 30 years.

We’re launching the Meridien range with five modern and stylish tourers. From the very first glance, we think you’ll love them. Outside, the Meridien’s styling is innovative. A one-piece rear elevation panel in high gloss ABS features a striking spoiler overhang with high-level brake light.

Open the door and the Meridien delivers a real home welcome. You’ll notice the Tosca home furnishing fabrics in an exclusive Chanel design, complemented by classic cream curtains with contrast tie-backs.

It’s a modern tourer with hard-wearing vinyl flooring, an especially contoured entrance mat, and worktops and tables that have been newly contoured for the new season.

The largest of the Meridiens is the new 560-5L, ideal for large families, which includes an L-shaped lounge both front and rear, with the rear lounge having a rearward-facing single seat behind a fixed bulkhead. At night time, this arrangement transforms into a large double bed with a substantial cantilever overhead bunk along the offside wall. A further option of an additional cantilever bunk on the nearside which allows the 560-5L sleep six or even seven if you put three children in the rear double. Kitchen space, always at a premium, in the 560-5L can be increased by folding up a substantial flap on the side of the unit.

2007

The 2007 Meridiens build on the impressive launch that they made in 2006. Highly individual layouts have been redesigned and the stunning exterior styling complements perfectly the interior feel and flair of a quality and distinctive Clubman touring caravan.

2008 sees the launch of a prestigious new member of our range, the Meridien 640-EKB, a six-berth, twin-axle family touring caravan which we believe is the best Clubman available today.

Innovation is a particular Fleetwood quality and we have focused our efforts on making the very best if the interior layouts in the rest of the Meridien range.

The rear washroom of the Meridien 480-2, for example, has been extensively updated and now features a spacious wardrobe and storage area. We’ve also updated the layout and design of the other Meridien interiors, creating and improving our innovative bedroom layouts, increasing available storage space and upgrading specifications throughout.

There are five Meridien clubman caravans in the 2009 range. The four single-axle models (480-2, 520-EB, 560-I and 560-EK) feature the classic style and easy manoeuvrability for which this marque is renowned. At the head of the range is the spacious, stunning twin axle 640-EKB.

Meridien 480-2 This two-berth single-axle clubman is deceptively spacious. A large end dressing room contains a wardrobe, shower, Thetford swivel toilet, and washbasin set in a high gloss black surface surround. Two long day-seats at the forward end are separated by a removable front chest, for easy conversion to twin singles, or a large double bed. The centre kitchen features generous high-gloss worktops.

Meridien 560-EK This innovative four-berth Clubman is often chosen as a two berth for the L-shaped kitchen at the rear with its vast work surfaces and stunning high gloss finish. These provide the perfect complement to high-specification oven, sink and refrigerator. The washroom features a walk-in shower and separate basin area. The front end provides comfortable seating or twin beds/double sleeping facility.
Meridien 560-I One of the first island bed layouts on a single axle. The double bedroom, through a sliding door at the rear of the caravan, boasts twin bedside lockers and wardrobes linked by a canopy of roof lockers and shelving. At the front, U-shaped seating converts into a double bed. The central kitchen with full oven, refrigerator, and sink/drainer has high gloss work surfaces. A central washroom has a vanity sink, swivel toilet and walk-in shower pod.

Meridien 640-EKB New in 2008, this revolutionary twin axle Clubman offers stylish accommodation for families with up to four children.

Seating at the front end converts into twin single beds or a large double bed; a central dinette provides a single bed with a Pullman Bunk overhead; whilst opposite is a unique fixed twin bunk area with a pivotal TV bracket. At the rear, you’ll find an L-shaped kitchen with massive workspace, and a corner washroom with a practical separate shower area.
